You’ve almost made it!  You’re almost to January and your busiest time of the year!  The only thing standing between you and money is…..December.  It’s the last month of Fall, but you can still see decent sales.  Let’s assume you’ve been following our advice for the last two months (October & November) and have seen your best Fall ever.  Well here’s what we have for your salon in December:

Stocking Stuffers

stocking1Stocking stuffers are the best part of Christmas gifting!  A big, bursting stocking on Christmas morning simply sets the tone for the holiday!  Fortunately, your salon is a prime place to pick up stocking favorites.  Lip balms, hair accessories, mini moisturizers, drink coozies….the list goes on and on!  Even the artistically-challenged can put together a merchandising display that will sell a ton of add-on stocking stuffers.  Simply find a shelf to cram all of ideal items on, hang a stocking from the shelf, and add a colorful sign.  It’s as easy as that![/split-content] [split-content]

Gift Sets

As Christmas creeps closer, desperation begins to set it.  With only a week left before Christmas, Ashley is frantically trying to figure out what to buy for Aunt Carole.  Imagine her surprise when she walks in your salon and sees a luxurious body care set in a beautiful bag in your salon!  The idea with gift sets is to make gift-giving easy.  Put products together that complement each other.  Also, keep in mind that not everyone tans.  Remember our November idea of offering a $10 credit when someone purchases $50?  This will make your bath sets more attractive than, say, the popular body and bath store in the mall.[/split-content] [split-content]

Spray Tan Deals

New Year’s Eve is another big event that adults like to celebrate.  This is a great time to promote your spray tans!  As early as December 1st, begin encouraging your clients to book their spray tans for the last party of the year.  When you promote this on your social media, you create a sense of urgency.  NYE is on a Wednesday night this year, so you will want to make sure you have techs ready for Tuesday night.[/split-content] [split-content]There’s a nice start to December sales.  If you want some more ideas or need more stocking stuffer ideas, be sure to call your Four Seasons representative.  You’ve almost made it through the slowest time of the year.  Make sure to blow through the last month and make the most of it![/split-content]
