Veteran’s Day is November 11, so be sure you plan on running specials for military, veterans and their families. Bring in items with a camo theme, flags, or red, white and blue on them. Don’t forget Salute by Devoted Creations, because they donate to Paws for Patriots, that help injured vets.

Open HouseOpen houses are a great way to invite various people from the community and surrounding areas to come into your business. Serve light refreshments such as a cheese & cracker tray, veggie tray, apple cider, punch, hot chocolate etc. Run specials and have plenty of gift ideas for the non UV tanner. People tend to go open houses with friends which increase exposure for your business even more. Do little drawings and giveaways and be sure to show case new or popular products. If you are located in a court square or downtown area, many times there will be a downtown association you can join to get free advertising.

This helps get free advertising to an audience you might not have. Offer 30 days of free tanning for those that post something every day. You can offer a gift certificate for a free turkey when the clients hits a certain dollar amount.
