Service Technician (Paris, TN)

Job Summary: Perform equipment installations and service maintenance to Four Seasons’ customer base in accordance with company sales and profitability goals.


  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience with mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel—including overnight travel—during workweek and occasional weekends.
  • Valid Driver’s License with ability to obtain required Class F endorsement
  • Electronics troubleshooting with ability to read blueprint and schematic drawings
  • Basic computer skills.  Experience with AS400 operating system is desirable.

Job Duties:

  • Serves new and existing accounts by analyzing work orders, planning travel schedule, installing equipment according to manufacturer specifications, conducting tests, and ensuring customer equipment is performing at optimum level.
  • Coordinates repairs and parts requirements with parts department and manages inventory.
  • Works collaboratively with various departments within company.
  • Maintains cleanliness and routine maintenance of service vehicles and tools.
  • Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Maintains customer confidence by keeping service and other customer-specific information confidential.
  • Expands job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and staying abreast of industry trends via professional publications. 
  • Participates in required trainings, whether in-house or outside of company.
  • May perform general maintenance of buildings and parking lots such as painting, replacing light fixtures, sweeping, ice removal, and other as needed.

Dress Code: Company-provided FS polo or t-shirt must be worn when visiting customer locations.  All dress must be clean and free from tears and holes.  Shorts in modest length are acceptable.

Work Environment: The Service Technician may drive and/or ride up to 10 hours in a 24-hour period in company vehicles and be exposed to varying climates.  May work in cramped/confined spaces.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.

Physical Demands: Visual acuity, speech, hearing, and hand and eye coordination required.  Subject to long periods of sitting.  Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs., push/pull up to 300 lbs., bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, twist, reach and climb.
